Progress Alliance members make personally significant gifts each year. We welcome all those who would like to support our work with their skills, networks, and energy to join at a level that is meaningful for them, and ask that members put Progress Alliance among their top annual charitable and political contributions. The infrastructure we have created together is intended to be permanent, and as such, our organization and network relies on our members giving consistently over a number of years toward the future we envision 10 and 20 years down the road. We ask our new members to test drive the organization for one year and then consider making a multi-year commitment.

Progress Alliance houses two non-profit corporations, and an affiliated PAC:

  1. Washington Progress Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, houses 60% of our core funding strategy. WPF invests in non-partisan civic engagement and leadership development.
  2. Washington Progress Alliance, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, houses 40% of our core funding strategy. WPA invests in policy development, issue advocacy, and political engagement.
  3. Voter Action is WPA's affiliated political action committee. Voter Action invests directly in electoral strategies, to ensure our communities are representated by the leadership elected to office.

We ask that members divide their total infrastructure contribution into 60% for WPF (c3) and 40% for WPA (c4). We also ask that members consider an additional electoral investment, equal to 10% of their total infrastructure contribution, to Voter Action PAC.
