Momentum Fund

Our vision is momentum and progress - today, tomorrow, and always.
Building a permanent, powerful progressive infrastructure requires stability, a long view, and funding. 

Through our Momentum Fund Campaign, we will raise $300,000, kick-start our strategic goal to double capacity-building grants, solidify and export First Mile, and ensure our next leader enters from a place of strength.

The Momentum Fund will Support:

  • Our successful leadership transition, maintaining our momentum by covering transition costs, building our reserves, and providing the new leader with a stable, resourced, and powerful organization as they step into leadership.

  • Our strategic goal to double our capacity building grants over the next five years - from $225,000 to $450,000. Capacity building grants are for emerging needs and support general operations. These flexible funds enable our grantees to lead cutting edge progressive policy while defending our communities against federal attacks.

  • Solidifying the successful and impactful First Mile program as a model, exporting it to states across the country to resource progressive candidates of color to run and WIN.
